Abstract
For the last couple of years, the popularity of
e-bikes has grown substantially. Thanks to
the electric motor people can now ride uphill
and longer distances without arriving at
their destination sweaty and exhausted. But
even if the function of electric bikes is great I
saw problems in the design of the bikes that
are currently on the market. Problems that
made them very unattractive for younger
people. This led me to design an aesthetically
appealing e-bike for the new generation of

Through numerous ideation sessions, sketches,
mockups, and 3D models I have designed an
e-bike with integrated lights, battery, and
display, giving the bike a clean and simplistic
look without losing all the necessary functions or taking away from the user experience. The battery is locked into the front part of the
frame but can easily be removed, making it
simple for the user to bring the battery inside to charge it up. The bike offers the rider the possibility to go faster, further and
higher, making bike commuting more fun and
convenient, and looking good too, even on
their way to work.

I hope that this project can motivate people to
choose a more sustainable and healthy mode
of transportation and potentially even inspire
someone to purchase an e-bike of their own. (Less)
