With a critical discourse analysis following the structure of Carole Bacchis “WPR” method and the concept of transivity the essay analyses the role of gender equality in policy. Women, and especially racialized women, are at the center of the suggestions in the investigations. The key argument, both for limiting and extending the system for certain groups of women, is about the increase of labor market participation. What we see with these changes, is a shift from a general social insurance system to a system that`s oriented on power structures such as ”race”/ethnicity. (Less)
