Abstract
This report explores designing a self-heated lunchbox aimed at users with difficulties in heating their meals. It begins by highlighting the various reasons that affect the ability of users to access healthy and tasty meal choices at their workplaces. Professionals around the world have revealed
that not all workplaces have a common microwave to heat the meal brought with them, and the ones that do have so few, that the queues to them take most of the lunch-break. The reasons extend to the lack of affordable quality food in their vicinity, struggle to maintain a prescribed diet, and how the proximity in common kitchen-spaces would be affected by the dangers of COVID-19.

This report explores designing a self-heated lunchbox aimed at users with difficulties in heating their meals. It begins by highlighting the various reasons that affect the ability of users to access healthy and tasty meal choices at their workplaces. Professionals around the world have revealed
that not all workplaces have a common microwave to heat the meal brought with them, and the ones that do have so few, that the queues to them take most of the lunch-break.
