The chosen method is qualitative semi-structured interviews with 10 workers from various professions who are involved in the project. Police officers, social workers, probation officers, politicians, prosecutors, church representatives, and representatives from non-profit organizations are all part of this study. The empirical material was analyzed using implementation theory and previous research. The material generated several different views on the project. The main results of the study involve different professional views on the implementation of the GVI strategy. We could identify that the view differed among the professions, some were more positive to the implementation of the strategy whilst others were more skeptical. The outcomes identified by the professionals depict a decline in shootings in Malmö, a successful collaboration between the involved institutions and that a part of the target group may feel harassed by the interventions.
