The results showed that a shift had occoured in the social interaction between students and school counselors where the school counselor had to be the one to make contact with the student. A reason for this seems to be that the students no longer had the opportunity to make contact whenever they chose to but instead had to make an appointment. The reluctance to make an appointment can be explained by the fact that the school counselor can seem unattainable when the student no longer being within the institution. The results also showed that the students that did not go to school in ordinary case had a higher attendance after distance learning was implemented. (Less)
