Abstract
This study investigates how the population born in 1950 and older in Sweden experienced their well-being, self-efficacy and loneliness during the covid-19 pandemic (May 2020), and to what degree those experiences are related to physical health, “pandemic anxiety” and gender. A quantitative cross-sectional study was conducted through a web-based survey that was distributed via convenience sampling (N=79, 50 women and 29 men). The WHO-5 Well-Being Index (WHO-5) was used to measure mental well-being. The DeJong Gierveld Loneliness Scale was used to measure emotional and social loneliness, and the General Self-Efficacy Scale (GSE) was used to measure self-efficacy. Results show that the well-being for the 70-pluspopulation in Sweden during... (More)

Moreover, the results show that their overall physical health and anxiety influence their well-being, self-efficacy and experienced loneliness. (Less)

användes The WHO-5 Well-Being Index (WHO-5). DeJong Gierveld Loneliness

användes The WHO-5 Well-Being Index (WHO-5). DeJong Gierveld Loneliness
aspekter. (Less)
