Slutsats: Det verkar... (More)

Abstract
AbstractObjective: This scoping review aimed to explore the research regarding the relationship between long-term psychodynamic psychotherapy (LTPP) and treatmentoutcome in clinically depressed patients. The goal was to investigate the research existing in this area andseeif there was support for LTPP for depression.Method:A systematic literature search of LTPP for depression initially resulted in 122 possible studies, of which 24 were read in full and 18 fulfilled the inclusion criteria.Result:The study shows that LTPP is an effective treatment for depression. Several new and innovative methods of measurement were used in the studies. There are indications that LTPP contributes to long lasting and increased effects even after the end of... (More)

Particularly regarding what changes there are in patients and how they occur. There is also a need for more research in what works for whom regarding patients suffering from depression. (Less)
