Abstract
The project seeks to investigate the possibilities and challenges of new design tools like 3D-clay printing and algorithmic modelling with a base concept surrounding the creation of form, theory and variation, in a new manner of parametric and semi-self-generating geometry. The possibility of complexity inherited by these tools will allow for new interpretations and variation of structure, form and detail. But how do we approach the stylistic manner of these new possibilities?

With the help of old ideas such as Gestalt theory, merged together with these new tools, the project aims to break down the core essence of affect received through ones' surroundings. The project investigates the making of for down-scaled architectural elements... (More)
The project seeks to investigate the possibilities and challenges of new design tools like 3D-clay printing and algorithmic modelling with a base concept surrounding the creation of form, theory and variation, in a new manner of parametric and semi-self-generating geometry.

The project investigates the making of for down-scaled architectural elements with different attributes, and thereby the differing amount of Gestalt theory applied to each and every one of them. Through surveying people's attitudes toward the different elements, the project draws conclusions of what creations these types of technologies can contribute to in the future. (Less)
