- Abstract (Swedish)
(More)

- Abstract
- This study intended to examine how attitude, subjective norm and perceived behavioral control, based on Theory of Planned Behavior, were related to the intention to participate in work-related digital meetings. The dependent variable, intention, and the independent variables attitude, subjective norm, and perceived behavioural control were measured through an internet survey. The survey resulted in 73 participants where 79.5% (n=58) identified themselves as women, and 20.5% (n=15) as men. The data were analysed with multiple regression analysis where the results showed that the model of independent variables explained 61.8% of the variance in the dependent variable (F(3,69) = 37.2, p = <.001, R2 = 0.618). Furthermore, the results showed a... (More)

Furthermore, the results showed a positive and statistically significant correlation to the dependent variable, intention. Based on the unique contribution to the model, only attitude and subjective norm showed statistical significance, where attitude was related at a greater extent to the degree of intention to participate actively in digital meetings when the other independent variables were constant. The main conclusion of the study was that the different factors; attitude, subjective norm and perceived behavioural control, related to varying degrees to the intention to participate actively in work-related digital meetings.
