Abstract
This essay discusses how the image of man is presented in government public investigations. In postmodern theory, society and man are shaped on the basis of how social reality is constructed. From a critical discourse perspective, the study intends to shed light on how the vision of the future society affects our notions of what a human being is. The approach has been to discuss the new emerging approach to what lifelong learning and digital competence means for the human vision that is produced in society. In the National Agency for Education's view of goals and guidelines for digitalization in schools, children should be stimulated to subsequently embrace society's common values, as the new century requires other characteristics to meet... In the National Agency for Education's view of goals and guidelines for digitalization in schools, children should be stimulated to subsequently embrace society's common values, as the new century requires other characteristics to meet the automated society revised (Skolverket 2019). The study uses a critical analysis method to highlight approaches and ideas to identify themes and development trends. The study uses theories from sociologists Richard Sennett and Peter L Berger. Sennett explains how modern education and knowledge are related to what society needs to get people to fit into the spirit of the times. Furthermore, the study strives to explain how changes are connected through Berger's concepts of manifest and latent functions. The analysis draws conclusions that show that the image of the future human being can be understood as the result of a latent design of previously driven value and knowledge systems. Views and attitudes can thus be included in advance as part of the vision of what the future society should look like. Digitization involves a cultural transformation to promote a common approach. The results show that there is a change in the way the state investigations choose to portray people. The image of man becomes emerges as a construction. The analysis of government governing documents indicates that there is a special relationship between what is official and unofficial. (Less)
