- Abstract
- This thesis investigates two cases of public debate regarding critical knowledge production: the debate on activist research in 2021 and the debate about Kvinfo in 2017. Drawing upon a theoretical framework using notions such as Nordic gender exceptionalism, femonationalism and anti-gender movement, as well as feminist theories of science, I investigate the argumentation taking place in opinion articles. In the first case I identify struggles over the view of equality as freedom vs. results, what the state should fund, as well as contesting about whether equality is still relevant in a Danish context.
