Abstract (Swedish)
This thesis studies what urban design and urban development opportunities can be brought to an area by modernising and reactivating rail based transit.
Dromant Transit examines two rail lines in the New York Hudson region and studies what effect increased transit would have on particularly a site adjacent to Beacon railroad station in Beacon, NY as well as an overview of opportunities in other localities along theses lines.
