Through an analytical autoethnography and interviews, the study will analyse how international students in Lund navigate the environmental value-action gap in terms of travelling choices emerged from a previously distributed online survey. Through the concept of real helplessness, I analyse the research results organised in 4 core themes: Flight shame, navigating money and time, the stress of flying and the role of individual responsibility. These findings can extend research on the environmental value-action gap. (Less)
