- Abstract
- The paper applies Actor-Network Theory to analyze the entangled stories of wildlife and various human actors within China’s Tangjiahe part of Giant Panda National Park). I explore how wildlife interacts with different actors across hunting networks, rural life networks, and tourism networks, illustrating how the role of wildlife is shaped by the relationships they are part of and how the lives of the human actors coexisting with them are, in turn, shaped by these interactions. By employing key concepts from Actor-Network Theory, such as translation, agency, and network, I will analyze how different actor networks are woven together and how the practices of each actor, including both human and non-human species, influence these networks....
