Ute, inne & mittemellan - Skissprocessens perspektiv och betydelse för gestaltningen
(2025) AAHM01 20251Department of Architecture and Built Environment
- Abstract
- This work seeks to investigate and answer how different perspectives during the sketching process can influence a project’s design and decision-making, as well as how it is expressed in the finished result. I mean to exemplify how the approach can be used as a tool to more strategically and fundamentally explore one’s own sketching process, to understand what really control and motivate critical decisions. I go through three subsequent sketching processes from three different perspectives to understand the similarities and differences to the processes, and what these are due to. The projects turned out to be very different in their architectural expressions, but very similar in their extraction. The approach of sketching from a limited... (More)

The projects turned out to be very different in their architectural expressions, but very similar in their extraction. The approach of sketching from a limited perspective can certainly bring both advantages and disadvantages. (Less)
