The analysis draws on theories of trust-based leadership, psychological safety, and transformational leadership. Findings indicate that trust is viewed as a guiding principle in daily leadership, characterised by clear structures and boundaries alongside employee autonomy and responsibility. Trust is actively cultivated through transparent communication, presence, and delegation based on competence, creating a culture of openness and collaboration. Psychological safety is described as emerging from the leader’s behaviour, particularly through active listening, constructive feedback, and support during challenges. The results highlight a strong interplay between trust and psychological safety, forming a positive cycle that enhances learning, cooperation, and well-being, while resource constraints and administrative demands may limit full implementation.
