Abstract
This thesis treats the question of how a political vision is given a concrete form. The Swedish government has defined a view of gender inequality. To change the subordination of women national goals have been established. These give guidelines to the different parts of the administration. This thesis treats the question of how a political vision is given a concrete form. The Swedish government has defined a view of gender inequality. In the first part of the study I analyse, from a feminist perspective, how the government define the gender inequality and thereby establish a vision for the changing of the subordination of women. The second part treats the question of implementing this vision. I focus on the conditions that the implementers have at hand in their work. The method I use for this is interviewing with so called ?grand tour? questions, open questions that allow a deep understanding of the complex problems that arise in the implementation of the national goals. My result shows that this area is not given the priority it needs for the fulfilment of the political vision. (Less)
