The goal is to create the necessary conditions for such a system by looking into the company's communication culture, incident reporting system and employee's safety awareness.

A quantitative study was performed where 64 questionnaires were sent to all employees working as flight or cabin crew. Correlation analysis and non-parametric tests were performed to establish a picture over the current conditions. Cabin crew has significant better attitude towards communication culture and safety systems and more experienced workers showed less satisfaction towards company's communication culture and reporting system. To improve the overall situation flight crew and cabin crew have to communicate more safety related information to each other from a learning aspect. Maybe experienced crew members loose their positive view on communication and reporting systems due to increased demands or social differences between the generations. (Less)
