- Abstract
- The purpose of this essay was to clarify the method of Active Parenting. I also wanted to search for the sources in the society that made this method arise. I also wanted to get answer on what qualities an active parent needed and if the method Active Parenting could inform the parenthood with important resource for supporting the parents. In my studie I have used previous literature facts and interviewed persons who had connection to Active Parenting. I presented the results from an adult's perspective. I discovered a number of elements in the society that has influenced the parenthood. The society of today is much more dynamic and unstable witch puts us in a new dimension as an individual.
