I found that experiences of relationships and separations in their lifes had effected them in the adulthood. It came forward in their self-conception, sense of family belonging and how they relate to other people in their surrondings today. They all thought that they have a good enough life today but things could always get better. Theories of object relation, attachment and E.H Erikson´s psychosocial theory was used in understanding of the relationships´ importance and to get a lifecourse perspective.
