Abstract
The main objective with this paper was to explore if you could find traces of any of the three models of citizenship chosen; T.H. Marshalls liberal model, the liberal kommunitarian model and the republican model in the Swedish law for social cervices called Socialtjänstlagen (2001:435) and, if so, if any of these three could be said to be the dominant one in comparison to the two others. The research was carried out through a altogether theoretical study of literature and an analysis of the actual text in the law book. The conclusion reached was that you could in fact find traces of all of the three mentioned models of citizenship but although certain models dominates certain sections of the text no single model can be said to be the... The research was carried out through a altogether theoretical study of literature and an analysis of the actual text in the law book. The conclusion reached was that you could in fact find traces of all of the three mentioned models of citizenship but although certain models dominates certain sections of the text no single model can be said to be the dominant one regarding the text as a whole partially as a result of the general way in which the law is written and partially due to the similarity within these three models of citizenship.
