Abstract
The purpose of this essay was to clear if thoose who work in childcare report to social services if a child is being badly treated and find out if there was any co-operation between childcare and social services. The main questions are: · What can facilitate or prevent childcare staff to attempt a report to social services? · What knowledge and view do childcare staff has on reporting? · What kind of co-operation exists between childcare and social services? · What kind of support can children demand from society? The method I used in the descriptive case study was qualitative method by interviews. My result is that childcare staff does not report enough to social services when children treats badly.
