- Abstract
- The purpose with our essay was to study how comprehensive school work against bullying. The essay is written out of the perspective of the headmasters and the staff of the four schools. Our question at issue was: how defines the headmaster and the staff of the school bullying? What characterises the pupils who are exposed to bullying and the ones who expose others for it? What is detrimental with bullying? What kind of proventive work does the school have against bullying? What kind of actions does the school have against it? The method we were using was qualitative interviews with the headmasters and the staff of the school at four schools in Eslöv. The results showed that the schools are working active against bullying. Characteristic of the bullying victims was that they are odd and silent persons. Characteristic for the persons who do the bullying are that they usually feel very exposed and many of them had been victims themselves. The result also showed that bullying is very detrimental. The experiences of our interviewed persons were that the acts against bullying were doing quite well, but bullying are occurred more or less. (Less)
