The multicultural theory was used as a basis and a distinction was made between the liberal and the dialogical multiculturalism. It was found that only the politics around the veil and the turban was able to be characterized as multicultural, but it was only compatible with the liberal multicultural view. Also there had been some slight changes over time that is pointing towards a more multicultural politics regarding the policy around the Jewish and Muslim method of slaughtering animals and the veil and the turban.
