- Abstract
- The issue of global warming has escalated and is a big subject of today, and it has more and more become incorporate with development assistance policy. The purpose of this study is to analyze the debate between Al Gore and Bjorn Lomborg, for the reason that it is between them the color of the debate is most seen. And then further discuss and question the fact that global warming and development assistance policy has an obvious connection between them. Also, with reference to Lester R. Brown and his theory about a connection between a states ecological basis and a fragile state, my conclusion was that the given frames to put environment and development assistance policy together is not that obvious as it seem to be in the discussion between Lomborg and Gore, environment can also be seen as a security policy.
