- Abstract
- The degree project has been carried out at the department of Industrial Electrical Engineering and Automation, at Lund University, in cooperation with Haldex Traction AB.
Haldex manufactures four wheel drive couplings, HLSCi, for the automotive
industry. To make sure the couplings meets the high requirements and
expectations from the customer, standard tests are constantly being carried out.
This project aims at automating some of these test procedures. Thereby reducing the workload, and reduce the influence of the human factor. A test rig, on site at Haldex in Landskrona, will be used. The rig has been inactive for almost a year, due to a cancelled project.

understanding of the problem, the hardware configuration will also be described. Further, the work process and some of the problems we encountered will be discussed.
The goal of the project has been achieved and a functional machine is in place at Haldex. Before the rig can be used to it's full extent, some small changes and additions has to be made, e.g. more coupling models has to be implemented.
Apart from the work described above, a user’s guide on how to operate the
machine has been produced. (Less)
