The study is phenomenological and exploratory and shows several possible reasons to this behavior; strong injunctive norms formed from a previous challenging situation, an empathic concern and an identification with a role as a moral-nonconformer. The results could be used as a starting point for understanding the mechanisms behind moral-nonconforming but need to be explored further in different... (More)
