- Abstract
- Vietnam has experienced massive poverty reduction and rapid economic growth, following the effects of “the Doi Moi”, initiated in the late 1980’s. One of the growth sectors in this dramatic development is the ICT industry, which Danida has supported in various manners, amongst others through the Business-to-business (B2B) programme. The way inwhich it contributes to the ICT industry’s development is through emphasizing joint-ventures in between Danish and Vietnamese ICT companies. The Danida B2B programme definitely contributes to the longterm growth of the ICT industry in Vietnam, since it ensures knowledge transfer from successful Danish ICT companies in Denmark.
