- Abstract

The purpose of my essay is to analyze what the identity-discussion has been about and see how it has been shaped. Through my analysis of my Croatian material will I also use my concept of Europeanization and examine if it is included in the discussion. My conclusions is that my three units of analysis shows a fragmentation in the Croatian discourse, in which the three units of analysis are taking on Europeanization and identity in different ways, but they also show of a process of the different stages of this Europeanization.
