The conclusion of this analysis is that the victim’s rights are strongly connected to a residence permit and the permit is in turn connected to the victims will to cooperate with crime investigating authorities and their will to testify in court. Due to that conclusion a change of Swedish national law would be necessary to assure the rights of victims of trafficking. (Less)
