- Abstract
- The main purpose of this study was to achieve an increased understanding of the “good girl” phenomena. The specific purpose was to analyze the “good girl” in the context of everyday life, and in addition the female roles in the family institution. To get the female perception interviews were conducted with four different women who identify themselves as part of a family. The definition of the family concept in this study entails having two children, a husband/man and working hours of 80 – 100 percent. The outcome of the study concludes that the “good girl” phenomenon exists in the structure and the norms that the women experience in their family role.
