Abstract
This report contains an evaluation of occupant safety if a fire would occur in Ejendals Arena, home arena for Leksands IF. The fire scenarios that are considered to be dimensioning to the evacuation situation are:
display case fire at a trade fair in the main entrance stage fire at a concert in the arena storage fire in the enclosure Inlastningen
Calculations and simulations are carried out to determine if critical conditions will come up before the occupants have been safely evacuated. The results indicate that changes will have to be made in a few areas. The most important change is that smoke ventilation openings should be installed in the roof of Sparbanksfoajén to ensure that the descending smoke layer won't jeopardize the safety of... (More)
