Abstract
This study examined the correlations between a creative organizational climate, work related well-being and coping within two Swedish mid-sized organizations. The study also investigated whether well-being and coping could predict a creative climate and if a creative climate also implied innovation in organizations, measured through the recently created 'Innovationsskalan'.

The study was carried out through a web-based survey. The CCQ measured creative climate, Ways of Coping Questionnaire, S-rev, measured coping strategies, Emotional Aspects measured work related well-being and the newly created Innovationsskalan measured innovation.

Results of this study revealed significant correlations between a creative climate and employee well-being at the workplace. There was also a positive correlation between a creative climate and the coping strategy ’planned problem solving’ for one of the organizations. A creative organizational climate could be predicted from work related well-being and the coping strategy ’planned problem solving’. Results indicate that it was possible to measure innovation with the 'Innovationsskalan'. Additional research in the area is however necessary to elucidate the causal relationships between a creative climate, innovation, work related well-being and coping. (Less)
