Abstract
The aim of this bachelor thesis, is to explore how different big corporations in Denmark, conceptualize and construct problem and solution in their policy papers explaining they’re work with gender equality and advancing women in senior position and management. The thesis takes it’s starting point in the current Danish debate on the slow devolvement when it comes to gender equality in top management, and thereby gender equality in powerposition. The thesis takes it’s starting point in the current Danish debate on the slow devolvement when it comes to gender equality in top management, and thereby gender equality in powerposition. By examine how specific big private Danish corporations work with the policy-paper: Charter for flere kvinder i ledelse, and conceptualize the need for more women in senior position and management, and how to gain that, the thesis show by using critical discourse analysis, that Charter for flere kvinder i ledelse, haven’t got any real potential of chance embedded because of it’s voluntary and loose functions and policies.
