The method I used was a series of interviews with unemployed people within the labour policy system (Fas 3). I found that the organizational structure of the policy do not follow the criteria of the main goal, which is to increase the individual’s possibilities to acquire a job. The goal of the organizational structure is instead focused on balancing the Swedish economy. In this thesis I argue that these structures limit the individual’s opportunities to make choices about their own working life and that this in itself is a violation of human dignity. I also argue that the Swedish labor policy system needs to discover and seize the benefits of every person’s unique value and implement this on the labour market. (Less)
