- Abstract
- The purpose of this study is to examine skilled social workers with long time experience of breakdowns at family home placements frm 1970 and their apprehensions about it. My choice of subject concerns my own experience of breakdowns at a fosterhome in the beginning of 1970. In my investigation the research shows a lot of different factors that either increases or decreases the risk of breakdowns at a family home placement. A frequent factor in the reserach concerns the problem of childrens behavior, where behaviour and age often relates to each other. - The purpose of this study is to examine skilled social workers with long time experience of breakdowns at family home placements frm 1970 and their apprehensions about it. During the last decades has family home placement changed and developed comparatively than before. For instance the big differnce is how the recruitment of family home placement worked before. I used qualitative interviews with five social workers and one expertise interview with retired Gunilla Lindén, a former psych log and university lector in social work. In the theory part Michael Lipsky gives the definition of street-level bureaucracy space of act in human resource organisation perspectives. The intersting thing to know is how the social welfare secretary deals with the space of act between the laws and the actual work in the organisation. (Less)
