The aim of this essay is to study five instrumental teachers’ opinions of their instrumental teaching in the subject instrument/song (INSÅ) starting out with the concepts; marking, motivation, creativity and pupil influence. The aim is also to study the consequences of how
marking in music teaching affects the student’s motivation, creativity and pupil influence. The aim of this essay is to study five instrumental teachers’ opinions of their instrumental teaching in the subject instrument/song (INSÅ) starting out with the concepts; marking, motivation, creativity and pupil influence. The aim is also to study the consequences of how
marking in music teaching affects the student’s motivation, creativity and pupil influence. This essay has a qualitative perspective, starting out in five teachers' opinions regarding their education. Lev Vygotskij and the social-cultural perspective and John Dewey and pragmatism are this essay's theoretical approach. Relevant steering documents and the
concepts motivation and creativity are also presented. The result of the interviews and the theoretical approach are the conclusions of this essay and shows that the concepts; marking, creativity, motivation and pupil influence are complex concepts and the opinions of the teachers correspond to some degree. - Syftet för denna uppsats är att undersöka fem instrumentallärares uppfattningar om sin undervisning i gymnasiekursen instrument/sång (INSÅ) utifrån begreppen; betygsättning, motivation, kreativitet och elevinflytande. Vidare är syftet att undersöka hur betygsättning i
musik får konsekvenser för elevens motivation, kreativitet och aktiva påverkan av undervisningen. Studien är kvalitativ och grundar sig på fem stycken kvalitativa intervjuer med instrumentallärare på gymnasiet.
