Abstract
The following report contains an evaluation of the fire safety regarding evacuation at Aeroseum in Gothenburg, Sweden. This report is the result of the course Fire Safety Evaluation given by the Department of Fire Safety Engineering and Systems Safety at the Faculty of Engineering, Lund, Sweden. Aeroseum is an old hangar located underground that now functions as an aircraft museum. They also arrange parties and other events.

The following report contains an evaluation of the fire safety regarding evacuation at Aeroseum in Gothenburg, Sweden. The time it takes to evacuate the building was estimated with literature and the computer program Simulex. At last these two times were compared to each other.

The analyze shows that safe evacuation will be possible before critical conditions occur if some measures are implemented. These measures will increase the safety during evacuation of the building in case of fire. (Less)
