- Abstract
- The purpose of this report is to evaluate the current fire hazards and evacuation safety on board the M/S Hansa in Helsingborg. The report is a part of the course, VBR054, Fire safety evaluation. The main goal of this report is to study the safety of people evacuating the building, therefore damage to property and structural stability has not been evaluated. M/S Hansa was originally built as a passenger ship but was recently re-built to become a restaurant and club. M/S Hansa is moored permanently in the harbour in Helsingborg and is now considered a building.
