- Studien har som huvudsyfte att undersöka vilka uppfattningar gymnasieungdomar har kring ensembleundervisningen på det estetiska programmet. Studien ska också undersöka ungdomarnas synsätt på musikaliskt lärande i ensemblesammanhang och hur de tänker kring ensembleundervisningen. En kort introduktion till ämnet görs genom en presentation av tidigare forskning inom området. Två centrala forskningsfrågor har formulerats, dels undersöks elevernas syn på sin egna musikaliska utveckling och dels undersöks vilken skillnad eleverna
upplever mellan olika undervisningssituationer. Kvalitativa intervjuer har gjorts med fyra gymnasieungdomar och resultaten berättar om deras tankar kring musikaliskt lärande och ämnet ensemblespel. Samtliga elever som deltog i studien upplevde att de utvecklas musikaliskt av att spela i en ensemble. Qualitative interviews were conducted with four upper secondary school students and the results tell us about theirthoughts on musical learning and ensemble as a school subject. The results show that students think relatively similar to each other in terms of conditions for ensemble playing and attitudes towards music education in the upper secondary school. The four students that participated in this study, believe that ensemble playing has contributed to their musical development. The
results also show that the students prefer learning situations that are characterized by good cooperation in the group and a good attitude to each other. (Less)
