Abstract
This thesis describes the development process of an additive dosage system for a fuel dispenser. The level of additive concentration is low (<1000 ppm) and three predefined concentration levels are selectable for each filling. A device to visualize the additive dosing, when chosen, was also required. These prerequisites influenced the decision to design a separate additive system for pumping, metering, distribution and visualization. The fuel system and the additive system were connected for blending at the dispenser nozzle to be able to fully control the additive concentration level for each filling.

The purpose of the thesis was to design a system, based on the prerequisites above, and to build a fully functioning prototype.
