Empirical foundation: The study has been conducted through 4 case studies. The contacted enterprises position innovation as their competitive advantage and they are aimed at development of new ideas. The data has been collected through face-to-face interviews or telephone calls.
Conclusions: The findings of this study highlight the role of MCS in R&D enterprises and show the place of formal and informal control tools within the innovation process. (Less)
