Title: Million Boost, renovation and energy upgrade of an apartment building from the old Swedish residential development. Authors: Eszter Faludi, Victor Tuvesson Tutors: Laura Liuke, Housing Development & Management, Faculty of Engineering, Lund University. Title: Million Boost, renovation and energy upgrade of an apartment building from the old Swedish residential development. Method: Energy simulations are the main focus of the project. We process two different cases which are compared and analyzed. The computer program performs calculations that tell us the amount of energy the building uses. Results: By adding an extension consisting of glass, more insulation and by changing windows we can present a reduction of the energy use of at least 30 %.
