Abstract
The following report constitutes the main part of the course VBR 054 Fire Safety Evaluation given by the Department of Fire Safety Engineering and Systems Safety at the Faculty of Engineering, Lund University. The main objective of the report is to evaluate the personal safety at Östergötlands länsmuseum in the event of fire.

In an initial risk analysis three likely fire scenarios are chosen for further study. These scenarios are fire in the Wallenberg hall, fire in the kitchen and fire in the lower exhibition hall. Times to critical conditions and evacuation are calculated and simulated with computer programs. If the resulting time differences are below zero, suitable measures are suggested and validated with new simulations.... (More)
