- Abstract
- This paper focuses on the cessation of the Angolan refugees in Zambia and South Africa. The essay stresses the need to fallow UNHCRs recommendations for the cessa-tion clause concerning the Angolan refugees, particular article 28 that states that no one should loose their refugee status before gaining a new status under law. To show the complexity of international law Michael Baruticski and Christina Voigt’s different ways of understanding it will be used to analyse UNHCRs recommendations. The diverse ways of interpreting the law is essential for how to read UNHCRs recommendations for the Angolan cessation. (Less)
