Abstract
This pilot study explored differences in how eleven mothers and eleven fathers presented narratives in measurements of caregiving and attachment representations. The Attachment Script Assessment test showed no significant differences between mothers and fathers. The Caregiving and Attachment Interview was used to measure parents’ narratives of their own and their co-parents’ caregiving of their children. These accounts were scored by reliable assessors according to the variables loving, rejecting, involving, neglecting and pressure to achieve. Mothers and fathers scored differently as mothers described their co-parents as more neglecting and themselves as more loving. The fathers described themselves as more rejecting. The main limitations... (More)

Abstract (Swedish)
(More)

(Less)
