In a first step, this thesis seeks to provide an understanding of the industry’s situation in 2007 and 2012 and what factors influence the industry with what consequences? Based upon the analysis, four observations have been made. The first
observation is that the consolidation process of the IV industry will continue. The other three observations identify a firm’s size, R&D investment and customer focus as the critical resources in order to survive in the IV industry. Further the generalisations of the findings are presented. In addition some theoretical adoptions to... (More)
