Kunskap om att öva rätt - Fyra trumelevers syn på övning och faktorer som påverkar övningsresultatet

Abstract (Swedish)
Syftet med denna studie är att undersöka hur trumelever som studerar på folkhögskolor finner motivation till att öva samt hur deras kunskaper om övning ser ut. Vilken inverkan har deras trumlärare på motivationen att vilja öva och tar lärarna upp undervisning i övning i sin undervisning? Strukturerade intervjuer har genomförts med fyra musikstuderande trummisar som går andra året på folkhögskolor i Sverige.
Studien visar att informanternas syfte med att öva är att utvecklas och bli bättre på sitt instrument, de har dock olika avsikter med att utvecklas. Informanterna får god kunskap av sina lärare i hur de ska jobba med det material som läraren ger ut på lektionstid. Att läraren tydligt förklarar syftet med materialet bidrar till en ökad... (More)

The purpose of this research is to examine how drum students at folk high schools (folkhögs-kolor) find the motivation to practice and their knowledge about how to practice. What impact do the drum teachers have on their motivation to practice and is methods for how to practice a part of the instructions they give? Structured interviews have been conducted with four drummers studying music in their second year at folk high schools in Sweden.
The survey shows that the students purpose of practice is to develop their playing but the reasons to make progress differs between them.
