- Abstract
- The drinking culture of China is well integrated in the Chinese society. In modern China, alcohol plays an important part of the dinner, at the wedding, banquet, when meeting with friends, together with family as well as in the business world. The winner of the Nobel Prize in Literature 2012 was the Chinese author Mo Yan. One of his published books is Jiuguo, a book that is said to describe the corruption in China with a satirical tone. The aim of this thesis is to analyse how Mo Yan is portraying the Chinese drinking culture and to what extent it reflects reality.

- 中国的饮酒文化融入了中国社会。在现代中国晚会，婚礼，宴会，跟朋友见面，跟家人在一起 以及在商业世界酒精是一个非常重要部分。2012 的诺贝尔文学将是中国作者莫言。他出版的一本书是酒国。酒国是一本讽刺口气描述中国腐败的书。本文的目的是分析莫言是如何描绘中国饮酒文化，并到什么程度他反映了现实。
