En osteologisk analys av benmaterialet från den mesolitiska kustboplatsen Huseby klev

Hellgren, Felicia LU (2015) HOSK04 20142
Historical Osteology
Abstract
The aim of this bachelor thesis is to study how hunting and fishing has been conducted in the Mesolithic settlement of Huseby klev. The settlement has been used during different time periods of the Stone Age, which have been compared to each other and contemporary settlements. The result shows that Huseby klev is not that different from other settlements except in the oldest period, where the main focus has been on marine mammals. The explanation for this could be that other periods wanted to focus on more than just meat. The landbased animals could give them skin, fur and material for their tools.
